Successful NAVSA General Assembly in Aix-en-Provence - unternehmensmeldungen.com

Aix-en-Provence played host to the General Assembly Meeting of the Fédération Nationale de Vente et Services Automatiques (NAVSA – French Vending Association) on 13 & 14 June at the Grand Hôtel Roi René. Nearly 130 business leaders, executives, and professionals from the vending and OCS industry attended the event.

The European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA), to which NAVSA is a founding member, was represented by Erwin Wetzel. He shared the significant achievements in public affairs for the industry during the 2019-2024 European mandate.

The Confédération des Grossistes de France (CGF – French Association of wholesalers) and the Association Nationale des Industries Alimentaires (ANIA – French food and drink industry association), both of which NAVSA is affiliated with, also participated. They presented their contributions to the industry and provided their expertise during the roundtable discussions held the day after the assembly meeting, including about the Nutriscore, the French colour-coded label on nutritional information.

The eco-organization LÉKO presented the new eco-contribution economic players – including vending operators – will have to pay for each packaging placed in the market in order to achieve a high collection rate. Furthermore, a law firm explained that the principle of commissions given by operators to work councils in companies could be illegal and a judge should be asked.

Finally, WorldSkills France presented the event that will take place in Lyon in September and during which the French vending industry will be able to show the state of the art in the French Pavilion. Indeed, it will be the World Championships of various trades and hence a good opportunity to make the job of filler and technician attractive.

Overall, a successful event with large attendance.
