Paolo Ghidotti left his employer EVOCA last December and consequently stepped down as EVA President after serving more than 7 years in the role. The EVA 1st Vice President Mihai Ungureanu takes over as President, initially on an interim basis.
After being elected in November 2017 at the EVA Annual Assembly in Rome, Paolo led the Association through a number of significant changes, including the implementation of the new name which incorporated ‘coffee service’, the roll out and implementation of significant strategy developments, the expansion of the EVA membership services, and of course the industry transformation that is taking place since the pandemic.
For many years Paolo Ghidotti was also the Chairman of the European Vending Machine Manufacturers Association (EVMMA).
We would like to thank Paolo for his many years of leadership, hard work and dedication to the Association and wish him well in his future endeavours.
We would like to congratulate Mihai for becoming interim EVA President and look forward to working closely with him to ensure a seamless transition.
At its next meeting, the EVA Executive Committee will ratify and vote on all the new roles, including the new Vice President(s) and we will of course keep you informed.
