In July, the BDV and the organiser of VENDTRA signed a cooperation agreement.
From 2025, the BDV and VENDTRA will be working together as partners. The BDV Executive Board, Managing Director Dr Aris Kaschefi and Eric M. C. Schwaab have now set the course for this. In the interests of the entire industry, the BDV and VENDTRA want to further develop the trade fair and organise it for a successful future.
In 2025, VENDTRA will move to the large Olympic Hall in Munich. The move will bring two new features:
- Exhibitors will then be able to choose between the tried-and-tested box concept and their own, freely designed exhibition stand.
- A new supporting programme – in cooperation with the BDV – will help vending machine operators position themselves in a legally compliant and future-oriented manner. A mix of practical topics on the core business and outlooks on new business models is planned.
With this cooperation, the BDV Executive Board and Managing Director Dr Aris Kaschefi want to fulfil the wish of potential exhibitors for a joint meeting point for the industry. Eric M. C. Schwaab emphasised that it is now important to work together to find answers to the rapid developments in the market. Both partners are looking to the future with confidence.
The BDV will continue its own trade congress format VendCon – independently of the cooperation with VENDTRA and Intergastra – both digitally and in person.
